The Flying Fish Hostel

Address: 32 Hibbard Avenue, Dumaguete City

Spending a night in Dumaguete on a budget?

The Flying Fish Hostel exterior. || Locating this might be challenging because the there was no signage outside, even some of the tricycle drivers do not know about the location. We already reached the Harold’s Mansion, but still not trace of the flying fish hostel. I dropped at the Harold’s Mansion, and I told the driver to go to Gibbys Restaurant, near the Mormon’s Church–but before reaching Gibby’s, from the corner we saw a small gate with a flying fish on top of it—and there’s the hostel!
The Hallway – 2/f | I just love spaces. That’s why I chose this hostel.
The Shower & Bath Area – 2/f
Female Dormitory- 2/f. | I got a free upgrade to a female dormitory because there was only 1 female guest on that day- Thank you!

Thank you to Joy for being so kind the whole time I stayed in the hostel. I haven’t had the chance to meet the other travelers as there were just few of us on that day and it’s on the middle of the week. The place is very near Gibby’s Restaurant, a walking distance to the university belt, and boulevard. You can dine at Sans Rival and buy their pastries for your personal consumption or pasalubong.
